  • Eye: very light bright yellow. Nose: honey suckle, peaches, floral, candied fruit. Palate: quite sweet but good structure underneath, crisp, minerality also underlying, medium body and long finish. Superb.

  • Unexpected tasting.

Eye: light golden color. nose: honeysuckle, peaches, nectarines, tree blossoms. palate: sweet, honey like, Balance ofnacidity and sweetness but Not characteristic of Spaetlese Trocken. Contacted Pauly-Bergweiler estate and they checked the wine lot and confirmed the wine origin but it had been mislabeled as Spaetlese Trocken yet it was really Spaetlese. They corrected the issue for me very promptly with a replacement shipment. Nonetheless, the Soaetlese is very nice.
