Bought at the distillery in Highland village of Dalwhinnie in Scotland.
Much nicer than the regular Dalwhinnie. Smooth and elegant. It is finished in Oloroso sherry casks that adds a nice sweetness and complexity. Both the nose and palate offer layered notes of mild peat, honey, spice and orange.
Also get some oak, vanilla and nut flavors that work well.
I have about a dozen nice single malt scotch's from Scotland, and this is one of my favorites. Great to sip by the fire in the Fall and Winter.

Bottled 2009, limited edition, special release D.SQ.312. Double matured. Wonderfully light and elegant heathery Highland character, slightly honeyed, smooth, fragrant and long, a wonderful Whisky.
