  • Bought at the distillery in Highland village of Dalwhinnie in Scotland.

Much nicer than the regular Dalwhinnie. Smooth and elegant.
It is finished in Oloroso sherry casks that adds a nice sweetness and complexity. Both the nose and palate offer layered notes of mild peat, honey, spice and orange.

Also get some oak, vanilla and nut flavors that work well.

I have about a dozen nice single malt scotch's from Scotland, and this is one of my favorites. Great to sip by the fire in the Fall and Winter.

  • Bottled 2009, limited edition, special release D.SQ.312. Double matured. Wonderfully light and elegant heathery Highland character, slightly honeyed, smooth, fragrant and long, a wonderful Whisky.
