Light tawny w. crimson tones. It opens slowly first with sweeter notes of tobacco, followed by dried lavender. Certainly by far over the top but not yet dead. The acidity and alcohol, while prominent, are gently balanced by sweeter notes of leather and sweet liquorice. Coherent and complex with a wonderful lengthy finish.
