Mature bouquet with still some fruits and herbs and spices. On the palate a lot of pepper, earthy impressions , leather and still some black forest fruits. A bit harsh a lot of acidity. Although the wine is still drinkable is has some quite noticeable oxidized impressions which dominate a little too much. No score.

Impromptu tasting @ Peter Z. (Belgium): Fine mature nose and ditto palate. Maybe a touch too old, but still a very decent wine. Refreshing, taut acidity, white pepper, rosehips, earthy undergrowth, mushrooms. The funny part of it is that it reminded me more of Syrah than Grenache. 16.5/20
