Lots of fruit, strong mineral on the finish. Paired with jagerschnitzel with red cabbage (rotkohl) on night one; chicken biryani on night two. Great pairing both nights. The schnitzel picked up the earthy elements (mushroom, herbs), the biryani played well off the sweet cherry and spice notes (cinnamon especially). Zweigelt 60%, Blaufränkisch 30%, St Laurent 10%. I wish I bought more!

This is really cool stuff. Would have pegged it for a good Bourgogne, except that it has all kinds of blueberries and other things that take it in another direction. Not profound, but delicious. Preferred on day one than two.
