Quite a deep golden yellow colour with a trace of green. Good legs. Restrained nose at first with herbaceous notes. Delicate, almost tropical, fruit delevoped on the nose and palate gradually as it warmed. Very rich, oily palate and good mouthfeel. Well balanced with rather discreet fruit including firm white peach (not sweet) and with asparagus-like flavours developing. Rich but quite dry and refined. Long. I like it. I think it would partner a vegetable quiche (e.g asparagus) or oily fish very well. Good next day, after a night in the 'fridge. Like most decent white wines, it is much more interesting when cooled only slightly and served closer to room temperature.

This grew in stature during the night. At first, slightly reticent with cool white fruit, dusty hay and tropical fruit, integrated quality oak. On the palate it's very clean and correct, white peach, a flowery touch, silky mouthfeel. Finishes well with a good balance of clean fruit and a nutty, oaky farewell. As mentioned this grew and gained mileage during the course of the night, with that nutty balance showing some real lingering quality. A wine that doesn't wear you down after the first glass. Will improve, no doubt. An excellent alternative to white Rhone

- Yellow color with slow forming legs. It's somewhat balanced with a medium/full body. Oily texture with a long finish.
