Drank it during an impromptu tasting at our Friendsgiving celebration…it was a delight and could have easily aged 10 more years. Wished I was drinking it with a big juicy steak! Sorry I didn’t note more specifics.

Sad this was my last bottle. Really enjoyable - lots of classic napa cab with a some unique twist. Can age a little longer, but don't think you gain by doing so.

A very good wine from a very underrated and much maligned vintage. Clear, deep ruby color, full body. Upfront aromatics of green earthtones and bright red currant with hints of oak spice. Flavor profile yields wild raspberry, ripe cherry, sour plum, baking spice, chewing tobacco, and chewy cedar mulch. In the later stages of development with fruit, oak, tannin and acids nearing harmony. Big, mouth puckering finish. Decanted and enjoyed with a grilled ribeye, asparagus and sautéed mushrooms. Expect this to improve with further cellaring; if you drink near term, recommend decanting and juicy red meat. Good through 2026.

Second Sunday Group: 2010 Chateauneuf-du-Pape (R&D's): Dark color. An initial note of bell pepper along with black fruit and cassis and a hint of mocha. Abundant black fruit on the palate. Long finish. Well-knit tannins. Excellent.
