Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 89 points

  • A very complete and structured Bourgogne Rouge, built around a core of mineral freshness and ripe fruit, attractive but with the tannic backbone to age for a decade or so, clean, fresh, hint of sauvage (could there be some Savigny in the blend?), floral notes and earth, good line and length. My only concern is a slightly dominant note of liquorice root, but this wine far exceeds its humble regional status. Village level easily.
