Gave 60 mins air. This was an exciting QPR, having given it this much cellar time. Dark fruit flavors, good balance, reminded me somewhat of the 2010 Canon, maybe the 25% cab franc in each. Has lots of time left to see more evolution.

Immediately when I opened it, it smelled like a Left Bank, bright and fresh, cassis, cherry, rhubarb, dried tobacco leaf, baking spices, really nice balance. One of the better 2011 wines you'll find across the globe... although that doesn't mean much IMO... :)
A little over a year ago, the 2013 L'Orage rocked my world. This vintage unfortunately couldn't reach those lofty levels. Missing the greatness, but still good in a vacuum.

This keeps getting better, with really nice secondary flavors emerging with only 30-60 mins of air. Lots of life.
