  Must decant for sediment as this wine gave off a lot. Medium crimson color. Nose of black currant, black cherry, cedar, pencil shaving and leather. Very nice. Similar flavors on the palate with a mix of moderately ripe black fruits, cedar, earth and leather. Medium+ acid, medium tannin. Smooth mouthfeel. Drinks more like a left bank Bordeaux than a Napa cab and that is fine with me. Overall a very nice wine but questionable QPR at the price paid though.
