  Another Mcpherson masterpiece! Sangiovese done right. Sour cherry as one would expect, but then also raspberry, strawberry mid-palate leading to darker berry fruit and spice on the back palate. Nicely integrated French oak accents. Good finish. We intended to have our usual mid-week one glass each with pasta, but before we knew it the bottle was empty--too good not to finish!
