Very nice. Great QPR. Nice slightly coastie Apple bouquet with hints of pear. On the palate nice crisp dry Apple pear honey toasty nutty flavors. Nice crisp acidity and great balance. 12% ABV. A very nice well-balanced wine. Even appealing to those who are not the biggest sparkling wine fans.

Not overly complex - but WOW for approximately $4 you REALLY can't go wrong here. Punches well above it's price. Some yeastiness and a bit of creamy texture with tons of green apples. As an introductory Brut for those used to semi-sweet sparklers - this will be a home run while having enough complexity to make the veteran drinkers happy.
This also comes in a semi-seco version that is MUCH sweeter but has almost identical packaging so beware.

Freixenet Cava Excelencia Brut NV: Straw in color. The nose is very nice with notes of citrus rind, orange blossom and tart apples. Medium to full-bodied with medium mousse. Flavors of fresh apples, tangerines, chalk, a hint of toasted bread and orange peels with medium acidity and good length on the finish. Great value, good complexity and great QPR. 12% Abv.

This wine was not for me, far too sweet, and with far too much sweet quince, fig, and massive toast - pass for me - still very nice structure and GREAT spice, yeast, and intense medium bubble mousse attack.

quite enjoyable, did not detect significant flattening with age, nice crisp acidity, some yeasty notes along with some light/mod fruit (apple).
