    ~100 yr old vines. Manual harvest. French oak barrel fermentation (20% whole cluster).
    Aged in French oak 18-22 months. Unfined, unfiltered.
    15.5% Abv.

    A(ccuray)=2: Deep garnet/brick rim. Intense, ripe fruit, spicy bouquet.
    B(alance)=2: Broody components, good acid, resolving but still grippy tannin. Bit hot.
    C(omplexity)=2: Dark berries, plum, spice, incense, mineral.
    D(epth)=2: Savory mouthfeel with long tart finish.

  • The wine looks purple colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry. It tastes like blackberry, blueberry, oak and vanilla. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has low acidity.
