Bought on whim at local liquor store clearance bin for $5 thats right $5. Great find even though it's a little over the hill it's still got a nice amount of citrus and smoother and not so tight as a lot of NZ Sauv Blancs. Got to say it's my first South Africa SB ?? I know didn't even know it existed but glad I found it at this QPR. Don't know if it was the age or the style but nicer fruit and less strong grapefruit citrus of most others with a bit of minerality. Be sure to let it open about 15-20 minutes as it seemed to have a bit of funk that needed to blow off?? Probably being a bit old but it became pretty nice. If you still got it drink it now. I'm going back to see if there's any left.

Interesting Sauv Blanc. Clean, crisp, light. Not very complex and very straight forward but well done. More mineral than grass or citrus. Slight bitter notes on the finish.

Light golden-tinged yellow. Light-medium body with a bit of oily mouth feel. Floral rather than citrus character. Mineral notes on the finish. Clean; not a grassy Sauvignon. Excellent.

Complex and stony nose but with a white peach purity on the palate. For $18 buck this is a pretty darn dramatic wine.
