Fragrant nose of red fruits, especially raspberries. Raspberry flavour too, earthy, a touch ferrous, in a bloody rather than metallic way, but mainly bursting with fruit at this stage. My style of Beaujolais, not lean but not lush either, and a distinct backbone to it. Light tannins probably need 3-4 years to properly soften. Impressive.
