Trying a 2011 after recent Vinous retrospective. This was really impressive. Cherry liquor, cedar, plum and vanilla on the nose. Dark cherry, tobacco, plum and so.e pepper on the palate with a medium body. Perfectly integrated for me right now with a great long finish.
After an hour of air it's getting a bit sweet which I'm surprised with the vintage. Going to try again tomorrow.

Not the best Boeschen Cab we've had, but certainly enjoyable. A bit green to start, but fruit showed well for the vintage. Oak notable, but in a good way. Good to drink in this window.

Another solid showing for this wine, it has very good ripeness for the vintage with cassis, dark fruits, crushed floral notes, cedar, a touch of vanilla, and hints of earth. The palate has good balance and nice depth for the vintage. Seems actually a little better than my previous bottle, so it is aging nicely and still seems to be on the upswing.

Very good for the vintage; nice notes of cassis, blackberry, blueberry, cedar, herbs, bell pepper, coffee, and vanilla. The palate is integrating well, still young, but delicious and fruit forward with nice plush tannins. The oak is integrating nicely and I think this should peak in 3-5 years. Doesn't have the concentration for long aging, but a good effort for a cool year.

Well integrated tannins and acidity. Very nice complexity with layers of black cherries, cedar, cassis and red figs. This wine aged very well.
