P&P on President's Day and paired with cheese and charcuterie. So delicious, although lacking the normal Rocks funk at first. Perhaps the wine was too cold, as it had lived in my fridge for close to 10 months. Rock solid strawberry fruit, a touch of funkiness, and zesty acid to round it out. Great pairing with our hard salumi and blue cheese.

One of my favorite rose's of the season...lots of Walla Syrah funk, great acidity without killing me, nice salmon color. Glad I have a couple more to finish off the summer!

Super funky stuff here and I dig it. Reminded me of the 2011 Maison Bleue rose with the funkiness and grey clay thing. Behind that was some strawberries, hay, cinnamon sticks and mineral. Pretty fat on the front end and could use a bit more acids on the finish. Seems to be in the Bandol style which I really enjoy.

(K Vintners Rose Syrah Walla Walla Valley) Pale orange in color. An aromatically distinctive wine with smoke, mineral, unpeeled Satsuma oranges, and spice. The palate is dry and starts out with a broad, textured feel before narrowing toward the finish. Drinks considerably better at room temperature. Morrison Lane and Phil Lane vineyards. Aged 6 months in neutral French Burgundy barrels. 12.5% alcohol. 130 cases produced.
