Absolutely what we look for in an Oaked Chardonnay. It looks like thin clarified butter and the rich creamy smell is strong. Lots of malolactic fermentation applied here and I'm so glad it's still strong. On the nose is rich cream with hints of lemon, slight pungent vanilla. Palate is very smooth, again slight acidity in centre like lemon but it just adds to the richness. Creme brûlée with a single lemon twist as garnish.

Ghastly. Bottle may have been off. Color of urine after a beet salad and a tinny mouthfeel.
