Nose evolved from blackberry, through blueberry to cranberry all in 5 minutes. Tasted best in the first hour of day 1. Smooth dark fruit, a little dirt, and structure. After an hour, it got a little harsh. Day 2 was good. Cherry and cranberry with tart, bright, tannic quality. This could go another year.

One of the more interesting offerings in a flight of BCC wines. It smells, tastes like, and IMO could pass for a moderately priced Toscana Rossi. Sangiovese dominates, with the other varieties adding nuance.
