  Wine is in a great spot now. dark fruit, strong tannins and wonderful leather and smoke undertones.

  Ripe red and dark fruits, fairly fresh, silky texture and moderate acidity. A nicely balanced Brunello that is showing well now, but should continue to improve for several more years.

  Top rated Brunello 09 in the decanter tasting. Medium bodied. Plenty of tart cherry, mandarin peel and almond paste with a little spice on the nose. Great depth of flavour, real style and verve, loads of acidity for a warmer vintage, there's still some fine tannin to give it some bite, pretty good drinking already, should improve and drink for 5-10 years, a very nice early drinking brunello
