  Very dark , practically opaque. A blast of cedar as I decanted it (through the Vinturi) about 20 minutes before drinking. In the glass, the nose is actually much more muted ... vaguely earthy-woody-spicy. Sipping it, it's a big soft bowl of cherries and blackberries, splashed with vanilla and dusted with nutmeg and coriander. Nice, lingering finish.
  Don't think I popped this, my only bottle, too soon, but it certainly doesn't seem like it's anywhere near the end of happiness, either.
