“Georgian Wine” (non-blind), wine 2. The light to medium-bodied wine was bright medium orange/copper in colour and offered sour notes of apple, dry cider and nuts as well as vegetal, earthy and mild gamy notes on the nose and palate, with medium-level acidity, medium-level tannin and very good length. The tannin was dry and disturbing, but settled after some aeration. Needs time. I would start drinking from 2019 and recommend decanting.

Amber in colour. Not much revealing on the nose initially but then opens up to show peach and apricot aromas that lead the way to almond and linden. Broad, mouth-coating and smooth.

Smell of apricot, bone dry, wonderful concentration and complexity, balanced tannins. World class.
