  • Perfect bottle.
Very dark and compact for a pinot. Dark carmine red.
In style this wine is very dark and powerful for a pinot, and blind I would guess Morey-St-Denis ... even if Gevrey also produces powerful pinot wines.
Lovely bouquet of red and dark berries. Powerful and dark on the nose.
Some flowers and herbs. On the nose I would guess 1:er Cru if I got this wine blind.
Lacks a bit on the palate. Nice dark flavours, but lacks some poise and backbone, still good for a Village though. Good oak.
Ok leangth with a nice finish of lingonberries and wild strawberries.
I give this wine 90 points. Very well made Village. I say this again, 2010 is my favourite vintage in Côte de Nuits.
