  • In summary, this is a wine that tries to come away from Rheingau-typical edginess and works towards a more Mosel-like wine i.e. primary, fruity and round.

Does it fairly well, it's a clean, fruity, confidently crafted wine and I can hardly imagine that anyone could really dislike it. This 'wine for all' ambition leads then to a slight lack of character and kind of an unclear identity.

It's not what I'm looking for in a Rheingau Riesling but I'm sure many people will like this quite a bit.
