This bottle was excellent. Slightly raisined. Lots of fruit, plenty of complexity, with Scott's nicely balanced and food friendly approach without being too juicy or fruity. Pretty good with meat sauce, too.

Strong wine still! Earth, cedar and plum on the nose. Dark cherry, raspberry and some cedar with strong tannins ( strong puckering finish). Took a while to open up, had it with pork tenderloin and caprese tomatoes and it easily stood its own. Very old world wine, without any light fruit jamminess.

Dark red with ruby highlights. Warm spice, blueberry and cedar nose. Medium bodied, raspberries, sharp cherries, lots of tannins, and a medium-long red-fruited finish. Still in the prime of its life.

Lots of blueberries and fresh cherries. Tannins are perfectly integrated, with good acid, leading to a long, red fruit finish. Excellent.

Nice stuff, as usual. Plums, earthy, baking spices, nice acidity. Aging quite nicely.
