almost 4 years after my first tasting of Vengezzu della Casa this wine appears more mature and balanced. Not too complex giving the relative positionuing vis a vis the Riserva Capo di Stato but armonic and tasty. Pleasantness and easy drinkability are the key characters of this blend of cabsauv Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. Typical taste of Cabernet Sauvignon from Veneto appears (rich and tasty, much more fruity than Tuscan CabSauv). Will not improve further with more cellaring. Best paired with a marvellous Irish Black Angus T bone steak. 89/90

438/5000 In blind-tasting. Classic bordeaux-blend, which you can taste at first. One is looking without orientation from what bordeaux appellation he might have come from. The wine is still young, a remarkable potential of an italian. The tannins are well integrated and the wine has a nice length, if not endless. These wines surprised in the positive, whereby the French originals are not more expensive and not worse. It could benefit from more storage. Currently 90 to 91 points.

tasted at Radrizzani's in a free wine tasting of the winemaker. Complex nose typical of bordeaux blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. Unbalanced acidity requires cellaring for some years but structure is appealing. A good promise
