It's always an interesting experience when you enjoy a wine from a producer you do not rate. Rich, ripe, full bodied and powerful but the acidity is there in excellent support and the alcohol in check. Waves of peach, fig, rockmelon, tarragon and spice. The oak is simply seamless and the mouthfeel creamy, I'm guessing partial malolactic fermentation. A long rockmelon and spice finish. Great drinking now but it has a long life of development ahead. Matched perfectly with roast pork.

Developing nose showing medium+ intensity aromas of neutral yeast, toast, vanilla and green pineapple. The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium+ acidity. It has low tannins and a medium alcohol. It has a medium body and medium+ intensity flavours of neutral yeast, toast, vanilla and green pineapple. Long finish.
It is a very good quality wine with a great finish, a nice fruit concentration and a good overall balance between all structural elements. However it could be more complex, and the oak dominates a bit. Can drink now, but it has enough acidity and flavour concentration to develop some tertiary more complex aromas in the next 3-5 years.

An exceptional wine that is very well balanced. Could well be my new favourite Chardonnay.
