  • I've got nothing but great things to say about this wine. It's not just a novelty wine as it's Pinot Noir from Spain but rather a seriously good wine from start to finish. I was very pleasantly surprised, in fact mildly shocked, of the quality of the nose and taste of this wine. Cherry, strawberry on the nose. Crushed stone, deep red cherry, nice acidity on the palate. I should add that it held up very well over three days (but the cork in and leave it in the fridge) and had its most intense flavors on day three. So glad I found this bargain!

Choosing wine at a restaurant, we saw in the menu unfamiliar region of Spain - Utiel-Reguena, and unusual for this country variety of grape - Pinot Noir, and, of course, decided to try. It was Valencia, and Pino looked very nice, took another bottle. In the style reminds the German (Ahr), and some American PN, and a separate Burgundy - a powerful wine, med+-body, smoke and rubber, moderate acidity, rich in flavor and taste, a little vanilla and pepper, a lot of dark ripe berries -sweet cherries, cherry, blackberry, mulberry, wild raspberries; opens, plays, changes, gives warmth and sweetness; tannins noticeable, but delicate; aftertaste is very long, berry-spicy, pleasant, in the final - autumn foliage. In general, a beautiful, balanced and pleasant wine.
