My last bottle. Bit of barnyard, yet not distracting. Edges turning brownish and my suspicion is this one is nearing the end. Still sweet and enjoyable, but declining from those I've previously enjoyed (4 prior). I've never had any of the flawed bottles others have reported, yet I'd suggest drinking up whatever you have left.

So sorry that the three previous tasters had flawed bottles. Seeing those notes, I thought I might as well open one of my 3 bottles and see how it tasted. It was delicious. A little bit of barnyard upon opening, but that blew off pretty quickly. For those who are having trouble with it, I hope it's just the one bottle.

Not sure what to make of this. The first night it was pretty close to undrinkable, really on the nasty side of funk. I left it, ungassed (but in the cellar), and re-visited it over the last five consecutive nights, and by tonight it tasted pretty good. Not outstanding, but pretty good, quite complex. Hard to believe that a Burg from '04 would need five days of air to start showing its stuff, so I really think that there was an inherent flaw. But that last sip was pretty good, so I have a seed of doubt...

SLDS @ GC: Blind. Too funky and dusty. Can't pin down the specific fault, but hopefully just an off bottle.
