Michelle won this as part of her wine survivor victory in 2016. I was not sure it would be any good, but it’s quite fresh, fruity with some grippy tannins. We are just having it with burgers on the grill tonight. A perfect match!

Very solid, full flavour, enjoyably tasty, dark low rumble of deep purple chalky grape juice deliciousness. It's low on spiciness, brightness, liveliness and any real sharply masochistic elements. Gorgeous deep purple colour, magnificent light tannins, light acidity and excellent moderate level of sweetness – you will feel some sweetness for sure. Everything works well together top to bottom - a nice, balanced, complete solution all around. Substantial, full mouth feel with a chalky tasting, somewhat "flavourless" component, ala some Tempranillo, but still way more to the grape juice side of things. I would have no hesitation in looking forward to cracking open another bottle. Limari Valley scores again.

Dark and inky purple in the glass. Looks like a tooth stainer. Nose of blueberry, blackberry and black pepper. Tastes like blackberry, black currant, anise and black pepper, with a savoury finish. Rich and grippy, but not too tannic or tart. Delicious!
