A nice set of aromas featuring lemon zest, challah, prickly pear, raspberry and slate. Nearly full body, its has bright acid nicely integrated with a creamy finish. Modersate mousse. The flavors include restrained notes of gooseberry, strawberry, raspberry, kiwi and big hits of white pepper and slate. Quite tasty and food versatile.

Disgorged 07/17. Really respectable and convincing traditional method sparkling wine effort. Expressive, rich, and vibrant. Southerly Chianti, sangiovese leads the blend. 90-91

This was average. Not a great flavor profile. Nothing I'd remember in a few days. Sad given the producer.
