Opened to cook into a red wine reduction for a prime rib roast, but did drink some and I think this is actually quite good. Certainly unique. While I disagree that trepat is pinot-like, it does have a certain delicacy and texture to it that does reflect some pinot charms. Fruit forward but with nice minerality and floral notes to it. There was also something medicinal that sort of recalled ruche (Piemonte) for me. I would keep my out out for more Conca de Barbera wines.

Unusual grape worth a try. Should be decanted.
