Floral start with ripe apple and pear throughout. Very good richness and concentration for its level, this came across as slightly more mature vs last couple of bottles in 2020. A wine best to enjoy over the next year or three.

Pop and pour, notes from 45 min open. Lovely, and my best bottle..also my last '12. On the nose: lemon, soft ginger, a touch of honey, some sour apple. On the palate: excellent acidity and density, mirroring the nose. Paired with baked whole branzino, stuffed with onions and herbs...yum.

At nine years of age this is in great shape for a poully-fuisse. Aromas of orange rind, citrus and toast comes through in a slightly exotic style but there is great minerality and balance on the palate. This is in early maturity but should last at least five more years.

Popped and poured. Nice nose of citrus fruit, white flowers with a touch of exoticism. The wine is medium weight, nicely balance, at early maturity, fleshy with a little bit of exoticism but decent minerality and tension. I would drink this over the next five years.

Rich and powerful, certainly still fresh enough as it gracefully evolves. Certainly deserves its new 1er Cru status.
