Taste: cherry and a bit of red berry, with just an acidity to make this wine fresh, just that amount of class that makes it interesting. Tannins are resolved now. Cote de Nuits 2012 appears to need quite a time in the cellar to reach that. 88.

Wow, this really picked up in complexity and balance with a few extra years in bottle. Drinking very nicely now, and a terrific value at $22 on release. I regret drinking the other ones too early.

Color: very dark ruby. Taste: good fruit, with strawberry and raspberry, a bit peppery, with a firm acidity, that gives the wine freshness. Juicy and with some beginning, interesting mature notes. The tannins are almost resolved, at least not really drying anymore. This firm wine has developed really well since my last TN fifteen sixteen months ago. There seems some upward potential with half a year, one year of keeping. For now 88(-89).
