Clean and clear, touch of straw in color, and pretty stone-fruit based aromas. Palate opens with a touch of Meyer lemon, expanding into flavors of white peach and green melon, showing a small splash of vanilla, crisp and lip-smacking acidity, and finishes long, showcasing a slate-like minerality tinged with a touch of sea salt. Delicious, and will NEVER be confused with Rombauer. What a California Chardonnay should strive to be, showing intensity of flavor, clear terroir notes, and age-worthy balance. Will improve over the next 5 years+. Compare to a fine Saint Aubin Burgundy.

Vintage 2014 - Wine and Film Pairing (The Mod - Phoenix, AZ): 100% S.S. and aged on the lees according to winery manager in attendance. Note: Strong lemon on the nose. Palate of lemon curd with a noticeable finish of banana. Interesting salinity from beginning to end. Strong acidity. The lees soften the crisp mouth-feel somewhat. Good complexity here, if you enjoy this kind of profile.

Crisp clean pear and apple, with a good hint of toast and very subtle oak influence.
