  This is a great little Pinot Noir at a great price. Clear ruby, medium (-) in intensity, with a little garnet on the edge. The nose is clean, medium to medium (-) in intensity, with aromas of raspberry, strawberry, vanilla and cigar box. The nose is developing. The palate is dry, with medium to medium (+) acidity and alcohol (14%) and medium tannins. These frame the red cherry, rhubarb and oak spice flavors nicely. The medium length finish has a pleasant slightly herbal edge of bitter black licorice. This is a moderately well balanced, medium-bodied Pinot Noir with medium (+) flavor intensity and very good typicality. It is at its peak now but should continue to drink well into 2016. It is hard to believe that this good of a wine can be imported and sold for less than $14.00 (and that I got it for $10.00).
