Dark fruit, dust and cedar on the nose all which travel nicely onto the palate. The front is a bit austere but the midpalate develops with currants and dark fruit showing solid acidity and surprising tannins. Seems like we may be drinking this one a bit young as the tannin should integrate with the flavors a bit more in a few years.

Nice easy-drinking red blend. Medium bodied: black cherry, red plum, and nutmeg on the palate. Medium acid keeps the structure intact. Medium tannins. Give it 30mins to breathe.

Dark ruby color. Nose: bottled black cherry, blackberry, and blueberry with accents of cola, violets, tobacco, vanilla, allspice, and licorice root. Medium body on the palate: blackcurrant, blackberry, and black cherry framed by cola, allspice, Sichuan peppercorn, licorice root, tobacco, vanilla, and dark chocolate. Medium+ acidity. Moderate tannins. Lingering berry skin, wood spices, and dark chocolate on the moderate/long finish. Assertive wood spices with pretty fruit tones. Pair with marinated flank steak, beef brisket, chili, or grilled short ribs. Cellar for 1-2 years and drink over the following 2-3 years.

Smoke, bell pepper, tobacco, and cedar wood on the nose. Medium+ tannins, well balanced. Drinking well right now, excellent value.
