Showing a surprising amount of pyrazines for a pure Merlot, it is a blocky and savory wine that may just need a little more time for the structure to settle, or it may never come together. Not bad, it would probably work better with food and is cheap enough that it may be worth taking a flyer on a few bottles.

Bought from Red Apron in Saigon from the discount basket.
Lucky purchase, this has settled into its best phase. Nice quality for VN market for the price. Although still shocking.

fresh and bright style, with friendly plum, cherry and raspberry fruit with toasted spice. Great Price-Performance Ratio!

Medium bodied, w a medium finish. It tastes like raspberry, blueberry w hints of black currant. The wine looks crimson colored with a silky texture.
