Last bottle. Certainly not a top under $15 Aussie wine. Underbrush, muted fruit, spice and floral notes. A bit harsh on the finish. Easy pass at any price. 84 points

The 2012 Kaesler Vintage has disappointed. Underbrush, floral, spice and stemy fruit. Short to medium finish. It was cheap so no complaints but at full retail this wine under achieves.

Day 1: Certainly not at the Avignon level but not bad. Stems, underbrush, violets, raspberries and spices. Medium finish. Very drinkable everyday wine and at $12.95 worth that price point. 86 points Day 2: Raspberries, underbrush, stems, floral and licorice. Medium finish and solid everyday effort. 87 points Day 3: Similar to day 2 with raspberries, underbrush, licorice and floral notes. Has not lost anything. This should drink well for 3 to 5 more years. 87 points Recommendation: If you can find it for $13 a bottle buy it. Good every day wine. At $20 pass.

Nose like a Mexican hot chocolate: jalapenos, charred anchos, and dark baker's chocolate. Blueberry and blackberry jam. Rich texture, like coffee and cream.
Might have lost some of its fruit, as the midpalate is a bit weak. Would be nice with some pork and mole sauce...
