14.0% alcohol. Blood red color with very little orange at the rim. The nose is packed wih red fruits, such as cherry and raspberry, as well as a touch of pinot funk. He palate displays bright red fruit and mineral notes. On the palate, this wine is light-bodied with high acidity, and a touch of drying tannins on he finish. Overall, this is silky on the palate with red-fruit and vibrant acidity. It paired very well with bacon and pea risotto for New Year's Eve.

Paired perfectly with Tuna Nicoise. Very good primary "Pinosity" (Vanessa's" terminology.). Tart Cherry , Wild Strawberry notes, and a good finish. Acidity is good , so it may evolve further, but after 10 years I doubt it. Ellen, the hypertaster, detected a hint of Brett, which I didn't.

Opened this after finishing a very pretty 2010 Drouhin Chorey-les-Beaune, and at first I was a bit overwhelmed with the ripeness on the nose, and the much bigger palate presence. But a little air does this good, loaded with rich, intense dried dark cherry, beautiful acidity, some very fine tannins, just a hint of orange peel and black tea, juicy and flavorful, while remaining well balanced. A fine example of California Pinot.

After about an hour open, it really started to shine showing elegant dark cherry and spice notes. Very nice.

Silky. Light black fruit in total harmony. Touch of light smoke on the finish. Perfect acidity. Can I get this in an IV.
