brought home from my storage place and opened. first night pre-opening I was worried that it was slightly sour, but after an hour it opened up and was nice. On the 2nd night even better- balanced, no barrel vanilla or things like that- seemed to be a straightforward cab w/ some vegetal notes like bell pepper or eucalyptus, but more mellow than when I bought it. take these notes w/ a grain of salt, I haven't had much cab lately and I haven't been writing notes in a very long time. If you have this, open one up and let me know what you think.

Had with roasted beef tenderloin. Decanted for about 45 minutes before drinking with dinner and followed for about 3 hours after that. All of this to realize it was corked or flawed in some way. Musty aroma. Taste was kinda in between whether it was a bad bottle or not but we realized after letting it sit for a bit that it was.

Very nice bottle tonight. Started a little on the herbal side, but in a good way. Over time the fruit rounded out and the minty/eucalyptus side showed nicely. Good acidity, tannins are still a bit firm but not unpleasant. I like where it is now, might improve a little but I don't feel bad drinking this now.

Really great wine, hits high and low notes. Rolls over the palate, silky and smooth. Sadly it's my last one.
