Nose is nectarines, sweet floral and honeydew. Fairly acidic, seems grassy with a little clover and the melon notes hang around through the finish. Elements of tart, green apples mid palate on. Finish is alcohol as well.
Paired nicely with the food, we had some spice to the food tonight which I think balanced out the acidity and alcohol present in the wine, and complemented the spice nicely.

Light gold color. Got a whiff of fresh baked pastries on the nose. Nutty banana tart finish. First Albariño I've had, not sure I'm a big fan. Not a great wine, but no fatal flaws either.

We'll agree with the first two reviews with two exceptions.
First, the score of 80 seems out of line. In our view, 80 is bad and 90 is good, so an 85 from us represents mediocrity, and this is to us a mediocre wine, not a bad one.
Second, we don't sense flabbiness as listed in one of the reviews, we'll instead split hairs on metaphors and allow there is a bulbous quality where you do feel the acid and astringency, but the wine seems to sit like a bulb of wine surrounded by air in your mouth.
Was annoying with roast chicken, and did not enhance a selection of cow's milk cheeses, but worked well with antipasto.

Peachy nose, along with a smoky minerality. Lemon dominant palate with a silky mouth feel and crisp acidity.
