Gobs of dark fruit. Faint dusty tannin, medium acid. Rich and full bodied. Very slight bricking red that betrays its age, otherwise I would have thought this were a barrel sample its so fruit forward.

Decanted for two hours, consumed over there nights. Big red fruit but not over the top. No noticeable tannins or acid which may affect long term aging but not enjoyability at this point.

This one was a little less structured and a little more over the top, even on day two. Still enjoyed it but it was more like being strapped onto the back of a rocket. Brace yourself.

PnP, rest into a wide body decanter. Drank over 2 hr. A little funk on opening but blew off quickly. Obstinate and restrained for the 90 min, but then blossomed nicely. Could have used an even longer decant, and I should have prepared as much. Black fruit with hints of red fruit, black tea and faint herbal notes popped in and out. Some dustiness in the tannins but not overwhelming. As others noted, not sure this has enough acid for a lengthy aging process. That being said, I still don’t think this wine is in its prime drinking zone just yet and think the score reflects the lack of extended air. The potential is still there for 95-96 upside. Will try again soon with a much longer decant.

Very enjoyable Napa cab with a lot of fruit notes of cherry and cassis on the nose and palate. Not a lot of complexity, heaviness and lack of acid holds back a higher score.
