  ruby-cherry colour with lighter rim - clear. nose: nicely fresh fruit - cherrie, plums, red currants. Later becomes heavier with some soft pitch notes. taste: fruity with quite high acidity. Cherries, not ripe sweet cherries. Long bitter-sweet finish.

  87-88
  Fun weekday red but nothing serious
  
  nose of ripe blueberry and cherry fruit, cola, and sweet tobacco.
  
  fuller bodied than most montepulciano. tame acidity and fine textured tannins give it a rich quality that makes it easy to drink on its own.
  
  palate of candied bluefruit, cola, sweet mint, and a hint of violet. slight metallic tang detracts from the fruit. short but gentle finish.
  
  A more berry driven style that leaves a little to be desired in tannic structure and old world aroma.
  
  that being said, it is reasonably priced with no shortage of ripe tasty fruit.
