  Barrel sample. 13.4% alcohol. This had a Germanlike nose without the sweetness on the palate. Spritzy with notes of pear, white grapefruit, apple and honeysuckle. A little awkward now but should come together when released. I thought all of his Rieslings were more Austrian than Alsatian in style. 87-89 points.
