Theme was blind, Chardonnay, under $25, from California or Burgundy. Light straw color, hint of green. Bright nose, with citrus notes. This is crisper and less round than other Vire-Clesse in our cellar. Less of a surprise than the last bottle, we were able to appreciate it on its own terms. No one guessed California, and most thought it was quite good. Less round and more citrus on the palate than Bonhomme, our favorite Vire-Clesse. Long, pleasant finish.

Light gold, crisp-looking in the glass. Some citrus and apples on the nose. Crisper and leaner on the palate than other Vire Clesse in our cellar. Nice, but not exactly what we were expecting.

We let breathe for an hour, which was perfect. Everything you would want in a white Burgundy. It is drinking so great now that I can't imagine holding it until the reccomended drink dates

Creamy, earthy. Excellent nose. Delicious. Bottle gone before we knew it. Ate with mushrooms, garlic, bacon, Kale.
