Decanted 90 minutes. Medium-dark ruby, bright and clear. Aromas of wood, spice, cherry, vanilla, sweet smoke, strawberry, leather, and plum. Lots of spice on the attack and red fruits on the mid-palate. M+ body, high acid, XD, m/m- tannins, m alcohol (13%). Pretty nice. Ready to go now, drink by 2020.

Dark black color - earth, dark cherry & charcoal on nose. On palate, medium body, nice tannic structure, medium+acidity and medium finish. Dark cherry, gritty, dried cherry flavor profile. Would buy again. 90-91. My wife really enjoyed. Excellent QPR.

Sampled at a wine store - sample was at a very cool temperature which exaggerated the tannins. On nose, would have guessed Cab Franc given the pyrizines / bell pepper (nice) and tobacco. Bottle I sampled was open 24 hours and this drank very nicely - especially given the price. 90-91 range.

PnP and ran thorugh a vinturi, the nose on this is a lovely blend of cherry, leather and flesh with a palate that is smooth on the acidity side without being flabby and slightly grippy tannins that resolve with more air time. A distinct expression of malbec from this region and a pleasant surprise for what I paid for it.
