Incredibly dark wine that looks cloudy crimson at the edges. Intense blueberries, boysenberries, basaltic vinegar, bay leaf, and a touch of coffee on the nose. Intense notes of raspberry, blueberry, dark chocolate, cumin, bay leaf, and a touch of cigar. Tannic blackberry finish goes on forever with an energetic tingling on the lips.

One hour decant. Black fruits on the nose. Ruby to the rim. Lush full bodied with silky tannins. Black fruits somewhat subdued and minerals on the palate Finishes very very long. Close to its peak but lots of life left.
Best for this wine and one of the best I have tasted

Tasted double blind. Despite the young-ish aromatics I thought this might be 20 and not just 10 years old, the reason? The elegance this Napa has is impressive. No baby fat, no excess sweetness, so round, seductive yet highly elegant. As soon as the fruit (a bit too mich sour cherries for my taste) will recede further and tertiary aromas emerge the balance will further increase and the score can climb higher.
TN: Intense sour cherries, herbs, lots of minerality, some slight spices, some minty notes. Still feels young aroma wise but as mentioned, the structural frame is that of a well aged Napa. Round, harmonious, melted tannins, but lots acidity, lending the perfect freshness counterpoint. From start to finish a very promising wine.
Decanting: 3-4 hours decanted. Prefect for this wine.

Got about 90 minutes of air. Drank pretty quickly; shared with friends and wasn't able to really follow over any period of time.
Gorgeous dark color; rich nose, but missing the graphite notes I have enjoyed in other vintages of similarly aged Futos.
This is in a good spot.
Great stuff, just took a back seat to the 2014 Scarecrow on this night.
