Today I am loving this! Sweet aromas of baking spices, sweet red cherry and sweet cranberry leading the way with a hint of forest floor in the background. The nose makes one think it will be sweet on the palate, but there is an amazing linear and focused acidity to this that awakens the palate and balances the bold fruit flavors and alcohol. Light to medium bodied, but super elegant and a pleasure to drink. (Tasting notes were without food today. This is an improved rating from my previous. I'm guessing this in a much better place than on previous samplings, or else my palate is just whacky!)

Meaty, earthy. Dark fruit with something green. A little unexpected for this Pinot which *jaded* my experience. Like serving vegetable soup with beef in it. Fruit lacking, especially for Seascape. I wanted the regular ole ruby plum, floral monster. Not today.

Aromas of black cherry and vanilla and a hint of forest floor. A medium bodied Pinot with silky tannins and a luscious mouthfeel.

Light to medium bodied, red cherries and cranberries. A little thin compared to other Hartford pinots of this vintage, but balanced.
