Community Tasting Notes (3) Avg Score: 92.3 points

  • Popped and poured. Light ruby color, slightly cloudy. Gorgeous nose of strawberry and red cherry with hints of baking spice and a touch of forest floor undertones. Similar flavors on the palate with delicate red fruits, both sweet and tart, and some slightly earthy flavors to balance things out. Medium acid and tannin with a silky smooth mouthfeel. One of the best RRV pinots I have had in a long time.

  • Very pretty. So typical RRV. Strawberry, raspberry, and forest floor. Just gorgeous. Right amount of oak but it'll integrate beautifully over the next several years. 92 is conservative. Smooth and sexy. Let's cal it 92+. Revisit next year.

  • Popped and slow ox'd for around 45 mins. Light ruby color. Nose of dried cherry, cranberry, baking spice and some earthy undertones. Similar flavors on the palate with a really nce balance of tart red fruit and earth. Juicy acidity, smooth mouthfeel and a nice finish. Delicious.
